Austin
Doubt and anger filled me as I looked at Aileen. Her innocence was mixed with a pitiful appearance. Her short hair was messy. Her cheeks darkened from the sunburn. She looked like she had not had any decent meal or a glass of water. She looked as pitiful as Gracie when the latter first came to the guest ranch. And like before, my heart ached with pity. Not this time, I told myself. I will not trust this pitiful act, especially from a beautiful woman.
“I’m sorry I trespassed, but please let me go. I’ll leave the ranch immediately,” Aileen proposed. Her voice shook as her hands trembled.
She was full of fear and panic – like she was running away from someone. I was about to console her when I heard some buzz outside of my office.
“Steven!” I called.
Steven walked in with his laptop. Aileen turned pale when she saw the screen. I looked at the screen and my eyes widened. I grabbed the magazine from my desk and hit my nephew. “What are you doing watching porn outside my office?”
“I’m not,” Steven countered. He placed the laptop on my desk and zoomed at the woman. “It’s her.”
My jaw clenched when I saw the woman on the screen. It was Aileen, but with red hair. I looked at her and she shook her head. She wanted to explain, but I pressed the wrong button and the video played. The whole place darkened when I saw the video.
It was Aileen, fucked by three men in all her holes. Her screaming moans were like knives piercing into my heart. The innocent woman in front of me was not as innocent as I thought. She was a woman that many men had taken. Never trust a red hair.
“That’s not me,” Aileen claimed in tears.
I avoided her eyes and looked at Steven and the other staff, who were eavesdropping outside the office. “Get out of here all of you.”
Steven and the others hurried away from the office. Aileen turned around to walk away, but I stopped her.
“Not you, Aileen Moore. You are going with the sheriff,” I told her. I had to be firm.
Being pitiful had caused me to be broken. I would not let it happen again. Aileen had to be punished before she could take my heart, more than Gracie did.
Aileen held my hands and dropped to her knees in front of me. A cold hush covered me and made my blood boil as I looked into her pitiful face. Tears sprung down her cheeks as she pleaded, “Don’t send me to jail, please, Austin. I will do anything to pay you. Just don’t send me to…”
“Anything?” I cut in. She turned pale when she realized the boldness of her offer. I held her chin and forced her to look at me. “Anything can be everything,” I told her.
My eyes caught the paused screen. Panic filled Aileen’s eyes when she saw me looking at the screen. She shook her head and tried to crawl away from me.
